Hero's Day Camp

The week of August 17 to 21 saw more than 25 kids aged 5 to 12 enjoying summer day camp at St Columba's. The leadership team of Jordan, Stephan and Rachel came from Nanaimo to present the Hero's day camp focusing on biblical heros like Moses, David and Jesus.  Activities included story time, arts and crafts, singing, indoor and outdoor games and bus trips to the beach.  Local teenagers Faith and Jenna assisted with the programing and the support team of Joy, Connie, Amie and Priscilla helped with snacks and clean-up.  Leaders, helpers, families and congregation members enjoyed a potluck dinner on Thursday evening. Lots of fun all around!
