Hosting Presbytery

What a busy weekend we had hosting Presbytery at St. Columba's in Port Hardy. There were 50 out of town visitors here for 2 days and an additional 50 guests from the North Island for dinner and a worship service on Friday night. 

Many thanks to all those who provided help and support to make this such a wonderful weekend for our guests. Special thanks go to Joy and Connie who coordinated the meals and did much of the food prep. For the billet hosts, the furniture and chair moving crews, the dishwashers, the servers and clean-up crew, and those who provided or cooked food. Thanks to those who provided the blankets for the moving Blanket Exercise worship service on Friday night, especially Noreen and Sheila. Special thanks to the First Nations chiefs and speakers who spoke so bravely at the beginning of our meeting. To all who attended the worship services and listened with respect and an open heart.
