Ordination of Rev. Alastair

It is with pleasure that many folks from the shared ministry churches on the North Island attended the ordination of our minister Rev. Alastair on June 10 at St. Peter's Anglican Church in Campbell River. t was a beautiful service, full of tradition. Elders and others from Gwa'sala-'Nakwaxda'xw sang and spoke and members of the congregation participated. 

The stole featured was sewn by Jan Laurie, the wife of a former minister, and presented to Alastair on behalf of the congregations in Port Hardy and Port Alice.

After the service the church provided a delicious reception with time for presentations and cake cutting.
