Our New Interim Minister

Please welcome Rev. Elaine Julian as our part-time interim minister for the next few months.

She is a semi-retired United Church minister from down island. Elaine will be around Port Hardy (and Port Alice) from the second Sunday through the third Sunday of each month. The rest of the time she will be available from her home a few hours each week via telephone or Zoom if needed. She will be leading the services on both Sundays.

Regular office hours at St. Columba will continue with either Rev. Elaine or Sheila Cook at the church on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. If possible please call the church for an appointment ahead of time.

Elaine is also looking for temporary rental accommodation while she is in Port Hardy. A small self contained suite would be best. She is here nine days a month. If you know of something available please contact her or leave a message on the phone at church.
