Spam Phishing Email

If you have recently received an odd email that looks like it came from Rev. Alastair you are not alone. Unfortunately we think spammers are sending requests for money to some of his contacts or to contacts mentioned on our website. 

The standard "phishing" rules apply. Just delete the email. Know that Rev. Alastair (and most anyone else) would never ask for money via email especially payable in gift cards or bitcoin. 

None of the emails that have been reported back to us have had an actual legitimate email associated with St. Columba's Church. Use the "hover over email address" option to find the true email address. Our legitimate church email addresses are columbac(at)telus.net and [name or postion](at)stcolumbaporthardy.ca
