Robert is an active volunteer in the congregation. He is the rector's warden, the council secretary and co-ordinates the maintenance around the church building and yard. He also creates and runs the PowerPoint for the Sunday service most weeks.

Robert has recently retired as a teacher at Port Hardy Secondary School where he taught math, chemisty and physics.
