Staying comfortable: We are out for about 60 mins and have some times where we are sitting and some times walking (sitting all the time is an option too). Fall Leadership News
We had a farewell service and picnic lunch on August 11 for Christine Muise and she has now left to start her new position in Ontario in the Diocese of Ottawa. In September we will welcome our friend Rev. Sheila Cook back. She has been serving full-time at Christ Church Alert Bay. She has been appointed on a part-time basis to serve at St. Columba Church (while also still in Alert Bay) until the end of December. This temporary appointment is to accomodate the time needed for the search and selection committee (for a new minister) who have now started their processes. There may be some changes to service times this fall as Rev. Sheila seeks to be in two communities on some Sundays. She will also be at St. Columba and the Port Hardy community a couple of days a week. Robert Fyles will also be continuing to lead worship a few times a month as needed. Also occasional guest ministers will be invited to lead Sunday worship. For more infomation visit: |
